Q: When I try to connect using chrome, the desktop does not start. What should I do?
A: You can reset your Chrome browser settings to see if this fixes the problem(Click here for directions to reset Chrome settings). If the problem persists try using a different browser. (i.e. Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, etc...)

Q: Can I login to my desktop using a mobile device?
A: Yes, you can use any mobile device on which you can install the Citrix Receiver app.

Q: Why are my icons different than the icons in my classroom?

A: When you are logging in from a remote location, you are logging into the virtual desktop system. This system is separate from the Dell computer that is in your classroom. It only gives you access to a default set of icons. If you would like to have the same icons as your classroom computer, you will have to recreate them on the virtual desktop system.

Q: After I login to my virtual desktop, how long will my session last?
A: Your session will stay connected as long as you are working. You will be disconnected and the system will log you off if the session is idle for 3 hours.
